Zenith

Zenith is a Swiss watch brand created in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot.

The name « Zenith » which is a reference to the zenith in astronomy, as well as the logo of the brand which represents a star, comes from the passion for the stars of its creator, in particular of the complexity of the movements in space.

The brand was for a long time well known for the precision of its chronometers for which it obtained numerous awards. The most well-known and celebrated movement of the company is the El Primero chronograph which has been created in 1969, and taken over by Rolex for the Daytona in the 80s.

Its ultra-fast balance at 36000/A/h allows to it a measurement of one tenth of second.

Zenith has been acquired by LVMH in 1999. Today, the brand continues to produce luxury watches of very high quality.
