Mikaël Dan is specialized since 1983

in the buy-sell and deposit-sale of second hand antique, modern and signed jewelry, gold in all its forms, diamonds, precious stones and branded watches. Founded by Madame Cazes, this Parisian house is located just steps from rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and the Elysée. Madame Cazes' taste and passion for precious jewelry make this house the ideal place for an international clientele looking for unique pieces.

In 2009, the meeting between Eve Cazes and Mikaël Dan led to a beautiful association around a common passion.

Graduated from the National Institute of Gemology in Paris, Mikaël furthered his training by studying diamond at HRD, the Gemological Laboratory in Antwerp. He then joined the jewelry department of the renowned auction house Christie’s then carried out numerous appraisals on behalf of various auctioneers and institutions such as the Crédit Municipal of Paris and the domains at Cabinet Vendôme Expertise.

Mikaël is now a member of the European Alliance of Experts.

It is therefore naturally that Mikaël Dan’s House puts its passion, its knowledge and professionalism at your disposal to advise you and meet all your expectations.

OUR COMMITMENTS

The second hand jewelry and watches that we offer are carefully selected by our experts according to very precise criteria such as the manufacture, the finishes or yet the quality of the gems. Each piece go through our jewelry or watchmaking workshops in order to be meticulously examined, polished, cleaned, revised, etc. Our goal is to present you pieces that are as close as possible to a new one. A conscientious control is always done before each shipment, your piece is thus placed and secured into an elegant case which is wrapped with a lovely gilded knot.

Member of the European Alliance of Experts, for more than 30 years, our House has been placing the greatest emphasis on the authenticity of the pieces presented. Our jewelry is tested to identify the metal of which it is made and is carefully examined. All our watches are opento check the mechanism and the consistency between the numbers, the year and the design. You receive systematically an invoice used as an authenticity certificate for all our jewelry and watches. It indicates the characteristics of each jewel and watch: the type of precious metal and its composition, the gross weight, the kind of stone, the movement, the serial numbers, etc.

Jewelers, gemology graduates, graduates « Certified Diamond Grader » of the HRD Antwerp laboratory, with 30 years of experience, the Mikaël Dan House put its knowledge and its know-how at your service in order to welcome you, to advise you and to better meet your expectations.

Every transaction by credit card is done through our financial partner’s HSBC website.Banking data is encrypted, never forwarded in clear on the network and is not stored on our servers.

All the pieces bought via distance selling may be subject to exchange or refund (right of withdrawal art. L. 121-20 of the consumer code). The exchange or refund requested by the client must intervene within 14 days from the reception date. You can thus buy your jewel or your watch in complete serenity.

Our valuable national and international network acquired over our 30 years of experience allows us to offer you a wide range of second-hand jewelry and watches, mainly signed, of the most important brands of the place Vendôme. Our goal is to propose you pieces which are 100% authentic in a condition close to a new piece at a price 30% to 60% cheaper.
